This limited edition two-side clutch was designed by local textile artist Eva Calonder as part of the "Modern Makers" series from the museum shop at the National Museum of Women in the Arts. "Modern Makers" highlights local woman makers and their diverse companies. The hand drawn motif was inspired by May Steven's painting Soho Women Artists (1977-78) from the museum's permanent collection.
Handmade in Washington D.C.
The pattern is screen printed with eco-friendly water-based ink on a natural heavyweight canvas fabric certified 100% organic. It is lined with red canvas and constructed with interfacing for extra strength and stability. The leather handle is attached to the YKK zipper's brass ring slider.
