Song Lines

Susan Harlan—a painter, printmaker, and book artist who lives in Portland, Oregon—created this beautiful book inspired by the earliest maps of Australia. The book includes 25 hand-printed pages and is bound in black sheepskin and Italian linen cloth. Cast of anodized aluminum, a map of an unknown territory is riveted to the cover.
