Snarling Jaguar | Handcarved Wooden Mask

This snarling jaguar design has never been made before. It and its companion mask designs were hand carved using traditional techniques and hand painted with a fine detail to imitate the jaguars that live in the Mayan biosphere in Guatemala. Jaguars are characters in several traditional Mayan Guatemalan dance dramas and these masks reproduce important details in the costumes worn by dancers. The detail and fine craftsman work is ideal to be used as a decorative item that reflects your eclectic style. It has a small hole in top for hanging in the wall. The eyes in this masks are made of mirror to give an additional detail or painted and the hair added to make them look more realistic.
Ideal for a person that travels or wants to show little details of the Mesoamerican dances as well as the traditional craftman's work.
